A church record identifies 10240Hans Giger and 10241Anna Züstin as the parents of 5120Abraham Giger, who was baptized 12 September 1619 into the Evangelish-Reformierte Kirche in Berneck, Vogtei Rheintal, Old Swiss Confederacy. 10240Hans had died by 1640, when 10241Anna, age 60, was noted as his widow. Their three children and their ages are noted in the same record. As you can see in the record, all three children were in full communion,3 so 10240Hans and 10241Anna no doubt had provided them with a solid religious upbringing.
