Problem: Resolved
Who is 215Elizabeth's mother?

215Elizabeth's father 430Jesse Doles had married 431Elizabeth Summerell sometime before 8 January 1783,4 and 430Jesse Doles was approximately 33 years old on that date.5

Although we have no direct evidence that 430Jesse and 431Elizabeth were married before 1775 (i.e., when 215Elizabeth was born), it seems very likely that they were.

One could suggest that 430Jesse may have had an earlier, unknown wife who doesn't appear in extant records, and that this hypothetical wife actually bore 215Elizabeth. However, considering 430Jesse's relative youth, and considering the repetition of the name Elizabeth (which insinuates a mother-daughter relationship), this alternative hypothesis seems very unlikely.

215Elizabeth married 214Azariah Butts. For more information about their marriage, their lives together, etc., see his profile since that information won't be repeated here.

She must have died in the early 1820's, since her husband remarried in Hancock County, Georgia on 27 May 1824.6 Her father's will, dated 4 January 1826, describes her as "my deceased [...] daughter Elizabeth Doles." 3
