431Elizabeth Summerell, daughter of 862John Summerell,1 was born in the 1750's,2 perhaps in Southampton County, Virginia, since her father is named in Southampton County court records in 17503 and 1765.4

Although we don't know exactly when, she married 430Jesse Doles.1,5 For more information about their marriage, their lives together, etc., see his profile since that information won't be repeated here.

Her husband died in July 1831,6 but 431Elizabeth survived him at least a year or so, since she won land during the 1832 Cherokee land lottery, which shows her as a resident of militia district 318 (map), Baldwin County, Georgia and the widow of a Revolutionary soldier.7 This is the last known record of her.

431Elizabeth is probably buried near her husband, whose tombstone is at coordinates N33.12056 W83.34944. A 1939 newspaper article mentions two anonymous graves near 430Jesse's,8 but sadly those graves are no longer visible.
