4th January 1826	}	I Jesse Doles
of the State and County aforesaid finding
the State of my health such as to induce
a belief that my natural existence
will shortly terminate and being
desirous to have my temporal affairs
arranged do hereby make and ordain
the following as my last will and tes
tament to wit

1st I wish all my ___ debts paid as
early as practicable and of the property
I leave to my wife Elizabeth Doles du-
ring her widowhood or life

2d I give and bequeath to my beloved
wife Elizabeth Doles all my estate
both real + personal to be used at her
discretion during her widowhood or
natural life except what is otherwise
disposed of in this my last will

3d From and immediately after the in-
termarriage or death of my wife Elizabeth
Doles I give to my son Benjamin Doles
all that part of my land some ___
of thirty acres + attachd to the tract
now owned by the heirs of Maurice Moore
decd. And at the same time ( give to
my sons Thomas + Benjamin Doles the
land whereon I now live together
with a still to be equally divided
between them

4th To my grandson Jesse Doles I

give a young bay horse, and a bride +
saddle the bridle + saddle to be worth
ten dollars

5 To my daughter Sarah Anderson
son in law Azariah Butts and daughter
in law Sophiah Doles I give the sum
of five dollars each to be paid by my
Executors herein after named as early
as convenient out of the property left
my wife

6th At the intermarriage or death of
my wife Elizabeth I wish all my per
sonal estate whatever may be on hand
to be equally divided between my chil
dren and grand children as follows
Thomas Doles, Benjamin Doles, Mary Pat
-terson Nancy Brewer, Jesse Calvin
Anderson, Zachariah Doles, and the
orphans of my deceased decd daughter
Elizabeth Doles the family of orphans
consisting of Nancy, Polly, Lucy,
William, Betsey, + Matilda Butts
to receive together only one share
equal to the before mentioned
children and grand children

7 I have two draws in the contempla
ted land lottery + in the event of my
drawing any land it is my wish that
it should be equally divided between
my sons Thomas and Benjamin Doles
