Nothing is known (at least with any certainty) about 6609Katherine's early life. Her maiden name may have been Denson, although the evidence is inconclusive. Donald Milton Ricks discusses this topic at length in his book The Descendants of Jonas Ricks and Other Ricks Families in America on pages 56-59, so I refer you there for a more in-depth study.

Katherine married 6608Isaac Ricks, probably circa 1668.1 For more information about their marriage, their lives together, etc., see his profile since that information won't be repeated here.

6609Katherine died on "3th Day of ye 8th mon in ye year 1717," (i.e., 7 October 1717), a few years before her husband.2

Notice, though, that at the bottom of page 7 is written, "ffriends Booke of Records per Mee Isaac Rickesis in the year 1700." This statement suggests that 6608Isaac himself was the writer, and that he wrote this entry in the year 1700. The penmanship on pages 7 and 13 looks the same.
