207Nancy Dixon was reportedly born on 20 December 1777 to parents 414Jesse Dixon and 414Elizabeth Bell.1 (Unfortunately, the family Bible entry that I've cited was written almost a century after 207Nancy's birth, so it should be viewed with suspicion. However, her supposed birth year—1777—is consistent with later census records,2,3 and a more contemporary court document strongly implies that 207Nancy's father was indeed 414Jesse Dixon.4)

Of note, a different entry in the same Bible records her first name as Mary rather than Nancy. Perhaps she had two names, or perhaps this was simply an error or a misunderstanding due to poor penmanship.

She reportedly married 206Joab Horn on 29 December 1796.1 (Again, this date should be viewed with suspicion, but they had certainly married by 27 May 1799, when 206Joab was summoned to help settle 414Jesse's estate.4) For more information about their lives together, etc., see his profile since that information won't be repeated here.

207Nancy reportedly died on 26 January 1843,1 probably in Twiggs County, Georgia, since we know she had been living there in 1840.3

This record shows that 206Joab Horn was summoned to help settle the estate of 414Jesse Dixon, and therefore suggests that 414Jesse is indeed 207Nancy's father, and helps to corroborate the Horne family Bible cited above (source citation #1).
