In the Name of God Amen the 27 I Rice price of North Carolina of New Hanover County planter. Being Grown Anchent Butt of perfect Mind & Memory: Thanks be Given unto God: Therefore calling unto mind the mortality of my Body: & knowing that itt is apointed for all men once to Die Do make & ordan this my Last will & Testament: that is to say principaly & first of all, I Give & recommend my Soul into the Hands of almighty God that Gave itt. and my Body I recommend to the Earth to be Buried in Decent Christian burial att the Desare- ation of my Executors nothing Doubting but at the General Resurrection I shall recive the same again by the might power of God: and as touching such Worldly Estate where with itt hath pleased God to bless me in this Life I give Demise & Dispose of the same in the following manor & form —— Imprimis. I give & bequeath to Tomzin my Dearly beloved wife all in my Reall & personill Estate of Lands Goods Debts & moveable Effects & During her Living in the state of widdowood —— and afterwards to go to my three sons in manner following — Item to my son Richard price I give one Negro man Named peter & one Feather Bed with furniture thereunto beloning: and one third part of the plantion I now Live on: that part called the old plantitaon — — — | |

I've been unable to determine when the will was probated.
His "goods & chattles" were inventoried and appraised on 26 April 1758. An excerpt is below. The full record includes various livestock, axes, a grindstone, carpentry tools, saddles, a canoe, and other items.
