525393Matilda ___ is mentioned in the will of her son 262696Stephen. (Specifically, the will reads Matildis matris mee, i.e. "Matilda my mother.")1

262696Stephen's will lets us infer that 525393Matilda was married to 525392Thomas Bettenham. (The will reads Thome patris mei, i.e. "Thomas my father.")1

Since 262696Stephen's will was proved in 1415,1 if we assume a ~30-year span between generations, we can estimate that 525393Matilda died circa 1385, but of course this is merely a very rough approximation.
