107Lucinda Butts was born circa 1805 in Georgia1 (Another record that suggests she was born circa 1824 seems to be a blatant error or simply poor penmanship.2) to parents 214Azariah Butts3 and 215Elizabeth Doles.4

This entry in 214Azariah Butts' estate records proves that 107Lucy was his daughter.3

430Jesse Doles' will proves that 215Elizabeth Doles was 107Lucy's mother.4

107Lucy married 106Jesse Carr on 25 June 1822 in Hancock County, Georgia.4 For more information about their marriage, their lives together, etc., see his profile since that information won't be repeated here.

The 1860 census, which shows 107Lucy and 106Jesse still in Hancock County, is the last record I've found of 107Lucy.2 I don't know when she died, nor where she's buried.

4: Baldwin County, Georgia. Wills book A (1806-1832), pages 325, 326, and 327. Be aware that Baldwin County confusingly had two different wills books both described as book A: one for the years 1806-1832, and another for 1868-1936. I have written a summary and transcription of 430Jesse's will. The excerpt shown above is from page 326.
