In the name of god Amen. I, Robert Hinson of Fauquier County and the state of Virginia, being sick and weak in body, but in perfect mind and memory thanks be to god calling unto mine the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all men to die do make and ordain this my last will and testament Revoking all others, that is to say first of all I recommend my soul into the hand of almighty god that gave it and my body to the earth to be buried in a Christian like manner by my Executors hereafter named, and as touching such worldly estate wherewith it has pleased God to bless me with in this life: I give demise and dispo- se of the same in the following manner and form to wit. First I constitute make and ordain James Hinson and Taply Hinson my two sons, the Sole Executors of this, my last will and testament first it is my desire that my land and all my negroes Continue in the hands of my aforesaid Executors to dispose of or sell to the best advantage allowing them two years from the day of my death to perform the same, should not opportunity permit sooner. I also leave in the hands of my Executors my sorrel horse to be sold Imed[?] after my death, or as soon as an advantagious sale can be made and the money arising from the sale I wish my Executors with what money I have by me to purchace a negroe which negroe is to belong to my Estate, and to be sold when the Rest is and equally divided. It is my desire that my Executors keep as much of my Stock of all kinds as will be wonton, for the use of my negroes and planta tion also what of my furniture may be wonton. The Rest of my goods and chattles to be sold in legal manner, and the money arising from such sale to be equally divided amongst my children with the rest of my Estate. is my desire is that my Executors furnish Elizabeth Whitton with twenty dollars in six months after my death. my desire is that when my estate is sold I wish the money to be Equally divided amongst all my children except twenty dollars to be deducted out of my daughter Ann Dialls part. if there is more made on my land than suports my negroes I wish it to be Equally divided also the above mentioned twenty dollars for Elizabeth Whitton is to be deducted out of her part of the estate. I wish my Executors to pay any legal or just debt that may come against my Estate.
